CCTV pipe inspection: how it works and what you get

Camera reel standing at an open manhole

A CCTV pipe inspection shows the inside of an underground pipe without digging. A camera on a cable travels through the pipeline and sends live video to a monitor on the surface, so the specialist and the client both see the real condition of the line.

What an inspection can find

  • Cracks and deformations of the pipe
  • Blockages
  • Root intrusions
  • Unauthorized connections
  • The exact position of damage along the route

Which pipelines can be inspected

Water supply, sewerage, storm drainage, drainage systems and wells, with diameters from D‑100 mm to D‑1000 mm. The camera is lowered through an existing manhole or access point.

Why GPS matters

Our camera carries a 512 Hz GPS transmitter. A receiver on the surface follows it, so each defect on the video is tied to a point on the ground, up to 5 meters deep. Repair crews then know where to dig.

What you receive

A full video report and a qualified conclusion with a GPS-marked map. You can keep these and share them with contractors.

When to order an inspection

  • Before you plan repairs or excavation
  • When a pipe is blocked or leaks repeatedly
  • To document the condition of a new or repaired pipeline
