How it works
The inspection camera is equipped with a GPS transmitter operating at 512 Hz. A receiver on the surface follows the signal, which lets us map the pipeline trajectory and mark positions accurate to within centimeters, up to 5 meters underground.
What we can find
Besides the route of the pipe, the system finds buried manholes, unauthorized connections and the exact location of damage found on the video.
Why it saves money
When the exact location is known, repair teams excavate only there instead of opening long sections of a road or yard.
